Edit Field Description
Action This drop down box selects the default action that will be taken on all multicast packets being
routed. The following selections are available:
Accept Packet – accept multicast packets and output according to Interface above.
Discard Packet – throw away the multicast packets.
Pass to IGMP – pass the packet on to the IGMP function for processing which will decide which
packets are output on the Interface(s) shown.
Interface These check boxes allow you to select the network interface(s) where the routed multicast IP
packets will be output. The following selections are available:
eth0 (NET1) – output on Eth0/NET1 port.
eth1 (NET2) – output on Eth1/NET2 port.
If both check boxes are checked, then output on both NET1 and NET2.

NOTE
:
There
are limitations
to the selection
combinations of
Interface and
Action: “All”
cannot be used
with “Accept
Packet”, but
must be used
for “Discard
Packet” and
“Pass to IGMP”.
If “Pass to
IGMP” is used,
make sure
IGMP is
enabled on the
appropriate
network
interface(s).
