7.  You can send a command to force a master receiver into backup state and a backup receiver in the network 
should take over for the master receiver. (This might be useful in the case of upgraded receiver firmware).  
You can send a command to force the master receiver back to master status as well. 
Web GUI Operation 
If your receiver has the Redundancy Option enabled, then additional menu items and display pages will be provided.  
These are accessed via the Configuration Menu, in a submenu item called Redundancy Configuration. Selecting this 
submenu displays the Redundancy Configuration Page, as shown in the example Figure C- 1. 
The remaining fields displayed on the Redundancy Configuration Page are described under the Redundancy 
Configuration Edit page, Figure C-2.

Aside from the Common Menu Items, the following menu items are available: 
Menu Item  Description 
Show  Selecting this button will always return you back to the Redundancy Configuration page, as 
shown in Figure B-1. The current configuration as entered under the configuration edit page is 
always displayed here, along with the current status, which indicates whether or not the 
receiver is currently the master or backup device. This value reports as N/A if the receiver is 
out of lock or redundancy is disabled. 
Edit  Selecting this button will enter the Redundancy Configuration Edit page, as shown in Figure B-
2. The edit fields on this page are explained below the page. 
Set Master  Forces a receiver to achieve master status. 
Set Backup  Forces a master receiver to achieve backup status.
