1 OVERVIEW
Congratulations on your purchase of Salon Systems, Inc.’s T-Max® Series of tanning bed
timers. The T-Max® is designed for complete automation and control of your tanning
equipment. It is also an excellent manual backup system in case your PC fails. The T-Max®
Mgr/Pro can be used as a stand alone unit or can be controlled with a computer using a
number of popular software packages. Manual operation is accomplished via front panel
controls.
Manual operation is accomplished by pressing the proper sequence of buttons. There are 64
lights, each showing the status of a bed. A 16 key keypad and 16x2 Vacuum Florissant
Display (VFD) display allows you to operate the T-Max® Mgr/Pro manually. If the T-Max®
Mgr/Pro loses power, the T-Max® 3As can be used as stand alone timers. As long as the T-
Max® Mgr/Pro is active the T-Max® 3As cannot be used as independent timers.
This manual should be reviewed by a licensed electrician prior to installing your new system.

Options:
T-Max® Enclosure (Optional):
Encloses the T-Max® 3A to hang on the wall or set on a desk.
T-Max® Speaker (Optional):
Connects to T-Max® 3A to provide higher alarm indications.
T-Max® Sentry (Optional; 1 required for each T-Max® 3A) :
Remote indication of bed not operating properly.
T-Max® Monitor/Plus (Optional) :
Provides 16 (remote), displays showing bed times and status’s.
