6.4.1 Installing ADNET.EXE onto the PC’s Hard Disk Drive
Place the diskette in drive A and type the following: A: <Press the Enter key>. The
prompt will read as follows: A:\>_
Type the following: CD ADNET <press the Enter key>. The prompt will read as follows:
A:\ADNET>_
Type the following: Install <press the Enter key>. ADNET.EXE and all the associated
files will be installed to the computer’s Hard disk drive in the TMAX directory.
6.4.2 Loading ADNET.EXE as a TSR
A TSR (Terminate Stay Ready) is a program that loads in memory that other programs
communicate with to allow you to do certain things. An example of a TSR is a mouse driver
for a DOS application. Some programs require ADNET.EXE to be loaded as a TSR to
communicate with the T-Max® Mgr/Pro. If you don’t know if your program requires this,
consult your software’s manufacturer.
To load ADNET.EXE as a TSR, type the following: ADNET T C? <press Enter >
The “?” is the COM port number the T-Max® Mgr/Pro is connected to on your computer.
Refer to the computer’s users guide to determine what serial port you are using, then use
Table 4 to determine what to type.

Note: Placing this command line in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file on your PC will load
ADNET as a TSR every time you turn on your computer. If your PC loads your tanning
software automatically when you turn on your computer, you will need to place the ADNET
command line before the line that loads your tanning software. Consult your computer dealer
or computer’s manufacturer for instructions on how to add the ADNET command line to your
AUTOEXEC.BAT.
6.5 Using ADNET.EXE
From the C:\> prompt, type the following:
CD TMAX <press the Enter key>.
The prompt will appear as follows: C:\TMAX>_. Type the following:
ADNET C? <press the Enter key>.
The “?” refers to the serial port number on your computer that the T-Max® Mgr/Pro is
connected to. Refer to the computer’s user’s guide to determine which serial port you are
using then use Table 3 for the proper command line.
