MediaRacer® 100 [Preliminary] 28
CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
After the various devices have been attached to the MediaRacer® 100 unit, it is necessary
to define all the initialization and setup values required for the basic operation of the
MediaRacer® 100 unit. The parameters to be defined include details of the MediaRacer®
100 unit and some network parameters. The default manufacturer settings can be changed
in order to configure the MediaRacer® 100 unit according to the site requirements.
CONSOLE SETTING
The definition of the various setup values is performed by connecting a computer with a
built-in Hyper Terminal application to the MediaRacer® 100 unit. Power on the computer
and define the Hyper Terminal application COM port setting values as follows (see Fig 4-
1):
? Bits per second – 38400
? Data bit – None
? Stop bits – 1
? Flow control – None
