(Note: The facility to separately set the camera exposure for laser 1 and 2 is
experimental and hasn’t proven to provide any advantage to a single exposure
setting for both lasers. This may be removed in the new UX.)
The exposures run in the range of 2 to 2500, where 2500 is the brighter and 2 is
the darker exposure. Here is a table which shows the exposure values in the
scale of the Windows software:

High Contrast Scanning
To enable high contrast scanning, click the “Enable high contrast scanning”
checkbox. Note that the exposures used for high contrast scanning cannot be
manually set in the Mac software. Enabling this lets the software know that it
should automatically tune two different exposures for the lasers rather than one.
Manual Movement
A set degree for bed rotation can be set by unchecking “Enable adaptive
scanning” and then checking “Override scan rotation” and putting a value in the
“Degrees to rotate” text box. The Mac software does not support an override for
the distance of the head movement.
