When saving or exporting your scan as a meshed object (i.e. as an OBJ or STL
file), you are prompted to ‘Perform Mesh’, with the option to enter your desired
“Octree” and “Degree” settings. Changing these settings will impact the time it
takes to mesh your scan and the level of detail the mesh will contain.
Users of the 64-bit software have an additional checkbox under Texture Settings
with the option to “Blend Textures (beta)”. Checking the box will result in a
smoother, more consistent coloring of your 3D object.
For additional information on the 3D file formats available, go to File Format
Information (p. 37).
To learn more about Octree and Degree settings, go to 3D Scanner Terms
(p. 40).
