Restart your system for changes to take effect.

After your system has restarted, install the latest driver for your Matrox card. You may
also need to reinstall other Matrox software.
Problem Monitor settings aren’t automatically detected

Cause
Your monitor may not be detected by the software.

Solution
Restart your system. If your monitor is a Plug-and-Play (DDC) monitor, it should be
automatically detected by the software.

Solution
Try using a different monitor.
Problem Black borders appear around video capture content

Cause
Your video source (input device) is using a different aspect ratio than your output device.

Solution
Change your aspect ratio so that all devices use the same aspect ratio. For more information,
see Matrox PowerDesk help.
Problem Built-in network hardware doesn’t work after Matrox cards are
installed

Cause
The installation of a card may have caused your system to reallocate system resources.

Try reinstalling your network drivers.

Try moving your Matrox card to another PCIe slot in your system. For instructions on how
to safely install your Matrox card, see “Installing your cards”, page 10.
