Sound
The following troubleshooting items address problems related to sound cards.
Problem No sound, sound doesn’t record, or sound output is distorted or too
loud

Cause
The audio driver for your product may not be installed. For example, the driver installs only
if your interface card is directly connected to your computer with a USB cable.

Reinstall your Matrox software.

Extio Sound AAXXXX
(where

is the serial number of your Extio unit) and click
Uninstall

Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

After your computer has restarted, install the latest display driver for your Matrox card.
You may also need to reinstall other Matrox software.
Note:
If you restart your computer at this step, you need to reinstall your Matrox
software and restart the procedure from Step 1.
