Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

After your computer has restarted, install the latest display driver for your Matrox card.
You may also need to reinstall other Matrox software.
Problem Built-in network hardware doesn’t work after card is installed

Cause
The installation of a card may have caused your computer to reallocate system resources.

Try reinstalling your network drivers.

Solution
Try moving your Matrox card to another PCIe slot in your computer. For instructions on
how to safely install your Matrox card, see “Installing your interface card”, page 8.

You may be using Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Solution
Install Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. To obtain a Microsoft Service Pack, contact your
system vendor or see the Microsoft Web site (www.microsoft.com
).
Note:
If your system stops responding while it’s in VGA mode, select “Safe mode”
instead.
