Connecting your Expander unit
This section describes how to connect an Expander unit (sold separately) to your Extio unit.
Connecting an Expander unit to your Extio unit enables you to support four additional monitors.

Step-by-step connection setup
1 Connect your Expander unit to
your Extio unit
Connect one end of the optical cable
provided with your Expander unit to the
optical connector labeled
Port 2 on your
Extio unit.
Connect the other end of your cable to the
optical connector labeled
Port 3 on your
Expander unit. Make sure your connectors
are properly connected.
Note: You can connect an Extio F2408E Expander unit only to an Extio F2408 unit.
Note: When changing your hardware configuration by adding or removing an Expander
unit, you need to uninstall and reinstall your Matrox software.
