°To set your X.effects card to receive power from the external power
supply:
Connect the internal power supply cable to your
X.effects card
If you set your X.effects card to receive power from your computer’s internal
power supply as explained in the previous section, you must connect the provided
internal power supply cable for X.effects as follows:

Push the power selection switch towards
the front of your X.effects card as
indicated in the following illustration.

Attach the female end of your
internal power supply cable to
the 4-pin male connector
located near the middle of your
X.effects card.
