Host connections
Optional local connections
Local connections on your transmitter unit are
optional and are similar to the ones supported on
your receiver unit.
Dedicated USB connections are
only required if, when starting,
your host system can’t detect a
USB keyboard or mouse on your
receiver unit.
PS/2 connectors
To use a PS/2 mouse or keyboard
with your receiver or transmitter
units, your system must be
connected to the keyboard and
mouse PS/2 connectors at the
back of your transmitter unit and
your keyboard and mouse
connected to at least one of your
units before your system and
units are powered on.

Connection setup
1 Connect your monitors to your units.
2 Connect your keyboard and mouse to
your units.
3 Connect your fiber optic cable.
4 Connect the USB cable to your host
system and your transmitter unit (main
USB connection).
Note: Your Avio unit only supports up to
USB 2.0 connectors.
5 Connect the power supply of your units.
6 Connect the graphics hardware of your
host system to your transmitter unit.
7 Turn on your host system.
