Speed Dialing
As the name itself suggests, this feature offers you a quick way to dial a number. Using this feature, you can make
an outgoing call to a particular number by dialing a short code instead of dialing the entire number string.
Speed Dialing feature works on the basis of the Speed Dialing Table, which you must configure separately for each
port.
The Speed Dialing Table consists of Index Numbers that serve as short codes. You must store contact numbers
(along with their names) that you want to speed dial against the Index numbers in the table and select the
Destination Route through which the number should be dialed out.
Using Speed Dialing from the FXO port,
• Dial the FXO port number of ATA211.
• ATA will answer the call and then you can dial the feature access code for Speed Dial (#9) followed by the
Index Number.
• SETU ATA211 will check the FXO Speed Dialing Table to fetch the number configured for the Index
number and the corresponding Destination trunk (SIP1 / SIP2 / SIP3) to dial out the number.
This feature will work on the FXO port, only if Incoming Call Routing option is selected as:
• Answer the call, collect number & route as per incoming call route selection.
• Route to FXS. If not answered within ring timer, answer the call, collect number & route as per incoming
call route selection

number
• This number will be out dialled from the FXO port.
