Making a Second Call
You can make a second call, by putting the current call on hold.
If the first call is a SIP call the second call can be a SIP or a PSTN call. But, if the first call is a PSTN
call the second call can only be a SIP call.
To use this feature, make sure that the Call Hold feature is enabled in the Class of Service of the FXS
port. See “FXS Port”.
Making a Second Call
You are in speech with party A.
•Dial Flash to put party A on Hold.
You get feature tone.
Dial the number of the desired party B.
When party B answers the call, you are in speech with party B.
Making a second call feature can also be used with other features such as Call Transfer-Attended, Call
Toggle and 3-Party Conference.
