After editing the settings you may click the ‘Update’ button to send them directly to
the keyboard or you may click ‘OK’ to save the settings in the program memory
(settings will not be transferred to the keyboard until you click the ‘Update Key
Mapping’ button – see section 8 for more information).
4. Magstripe Card Reader Setting (Optional)
On the menu bar, click Keyboard > MagStripe Card Reader Settings (or click the
icon on the toolbar). The following dialogue window will appear:
The header, separator, and suffix can be programmed by clicking the ASCII or Code
radio buttons. This will bring up a window for input similar to programming
normal keys on the keyboard.
Options
The following settings are not supported by all devices, please contact us for more
information if you find that your device does not support these settings.
1. Detect IBM card
Some IBM cards have special formats. If you want to read the card correctly,
you may try to select this option.
2. Support OPOS
This option can be used on any system using our OPOS MSR drivers.
