For the GlobalFiler

Express Kit, the panel of standards needed for PCR amplification,
PCR product sizing, and genotyping are:
• DNA Control 007 – A positive control for evaluating the efficiency of the
amplification step and STR genotyping using the GlobalFiler
™
Express Allelic
Ladder.
• GeneScan
™
600 LIZ
®
Size Standard v2.0 – Used for obtaining sizing results. This
standard, which has been evaluated as an internal size standard, yields precise
sizing results for GlobalFiler
™
Express Kit PCR products. Order the GeneScan
™
600 LIZ
®
Size Standard v2.0 (Part no. 4408399) separately.
• GlobalFiler
™
Express Allelic Ladder – Developed for accurate characterization
of the alleles amplified by the GlobalFiler
™
Express Kit. The Allelic Ladder allows
for automatic genotyping of the majority of reported alleles for the 24 loci. See
page 13 for a list of the alleles included in the Allelic Ladder.
