Setting Up and Building the Model
Set up your model to work with Vector CA Nape. This procedure uses the
xpcosc model. It assumes that you have already config ured your m odel
to g enerate xP C Targ et code. If you h av e not done so, s ee “Entering the
Real-Time Workshop Parameters” and “xPC Target Options Node” in the xPC
Target Getting Started Guide. It also assumes that you have already created
a Vector CA Nape project. If you have not done so, see “Creating a N ew Vector
CANape Pro ject to Associate with a Particular Target Application” on page
14-6.
1 In the MATLAB Command Window, type
xpcosc
2 Open the xPC Target library. For example, in the MATLAB window, type
xpclib
3 Naviga te to the Misc sublib rary a nd double-click that library.
4 Drag the X CP Server block to the xpcosc model.
This block enables an XCP server process to run i n the target application.
5 In the model, double-click the XCP Serv er blo ck. Check the following
parameters:
