2 Importing and Exporting Video
2 Locate a m ultime dia file that you want to import in to Simulink. If you do
not have access to a multimedia file, VideoandImageProcessingBlockset
has sample multimedia files you can use to complete this procedure.
3 Use t he From Mul t imedia File blo ck to import the multim edia fil e into the
model. Double-click the From M ultimedia File block:
• If you do not have yo ur own multimedia file, enter
vipmen.avi for the
File name parameter.
• If the multimedia file is on your MATLAB path, enter the filename for
the File name parameter.
• IfthefileisnotonyourMATLABpath,usetheBrowse button to locate
the multimedia file.
• Set the Image signal parameter to
Separate color signa ls.
By default, the Numberoftimestoplayfileparameter is set to
inf.The
model continues to play the file until the simulation stops.
4 Use the To Video Display block to view the multimedia file. Set the Image
signal parameter to
Separate color signals .
5 Connect the b lo cks so y our model looks similar to the following figure.
6 Set the c
onfiguration parameters. Open t he Configuration dialog box by
selecti
ng Configuration Parameters from the Simulation menu. On
the Solv
er pane, set the parameters as follows:
