Video and Image Processing Blockset™ Release Notes
Insert Text Bloc
k Now Supports Placing Multiple Text
Strings on Image
s
You can use the In
sert Text block to place multiple text strings on images.
For more informa
tion, see “Annotating AVI Files at T wo Separate Locations”
in the Video and
Image Processing Blockset User’s Guide. This block has been
changed in two o
ther ways:
The Select port
expects zero-based inputs . Previo us ly, this port expected
one-based inp
uts.
If the input ima
ge is a flo ating-point data type, the input to the O pacity
port must be th
e same floating-point data type.
These changes
make the Insert Text block more consistent with the other
blocks in Vide
o and Image Processing Blockset. For more information, see
the Insert Te
xt block refe rence page.
Compatibility Considerations
To prevent in
correct results in your existing models, you n ee d to ve rify that
the signal co
nnected to the Select port contains z ero-based inputs. Also, if the
input image i
s a fl oating poin t-data type, verify that the input to the Opacity
port is the s
ame floating -point data type.
Removed Lan
e Detection and Tracking and
Continuou
s Image Rotation Demos
The Lane Dep
arture Warning System demo now incorporates the functionality
illustrat
ed by the Lane Detection and Tracking d emo.
The Contin
uous Image Rotation demo i llustrated the use of Simulink busses
for color p
rocessing. You no longer need to use this technique because we
introduce
d color data processing using 3-D array representation.
Compatibility Considerations
If you want
to continue to work with these demos, you need to save them to a
separate
folder o n your system before installing Video and Image Proce ssing
Blockset
Version 2.3 (R2007a).
