Diagnose license checkout problems.
Shut down all license daemons (both Imgrd and all vendor
daemons) on the license server node.
Report the host ID of a system.
Make the license manager daemon reread the License File
and start any new vendor daemons.
Display the status of all network licensing activities.
Switch the report log file.
Determine the FLEXnet version of a library or binary file.
Using Imutil to Get the Current Status of the License Manager
To illustrate using these FLEXnet tools, this section describes how to view the
current status of the license manager.
1 Open a DOS command prompt window and enter the Imutil command,
specifying the name ofthe Imstat utility.
Imutil Imstat -a -c "C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2006b\flexlm\license.dat"
The example uses the - a option to get a verbose listing of available licenses
and the - c option to specify the location ofthe License File to use. You must
specify the -c option with every tool invoked through Imutil. exe. If your
installation pathname contains spaces, enclose the pathname in quotes.
2 View the status information retumed.
