1 Data Processing
Tip When you
import or create data sets and there is insufficient space for
the i cons, a
n additional session window opens automatically.
You can drag

Type commen
ts in the Notes field to describe the data sets. When you save a
session, a
s described in “Saving, Merging, and Closing Sessions” on page 12-6,
all additi
onal windows and notes are also saved.
Deleting D
ata Sets in the GUI
To delete d
ata sets in the System Identification Tool GUI, drag and drop the
correspo
nding icon into Trash.MovingitemstoTrash does not permanently
delete th
ese items.

annot delete a data set that is currently designated as Working
Data or Va
lidation Data.Youmustfirs t specify a different data set in the
System Id
entification Tool GUI to be Working Data or Validation Data,as

ed in “Specifying Estimation and Validation Data” on page 1-29.
