Managing Models in the GUI
Renaming Models
and Changing Display Color
You can rename a m
odel and change its display color b y double-clicking the
modeliconinthe
System Identicatio n Tool G UI.
The Data/model I
nfo dialog box opens. This dialog box describes both the
contents and th
e properties of the model. The object description area displays
the syntax of th
e operations you used to create the model in the GUI.
To rename the mo
del, enter a new name in the Model name eld.
You can also spe
cify a new display color using three RGB values in the Color
eld. Each val
ue is b etween
0 to 1 and indicates the relative presence of
red, green, an
d blue, respectively. For more information about specifying
default data c
olor, see “Customizing the S ystem Identication Tool GUI” on
page 12-21.
Tip As an alte
rnativetousingthreeRGBvalues,youcanenteranyone of
the follow in
g letters in single quotes:
'y' 'r' 'b' 'c' 'g' 'm' 'k'
These string
srepresentyellow,red,blue,cyan,green,magenta,andblack,
respectivel
y.
Finally, you
can enter comments about the origin and state of the model in
the Diary And
Notes area.
To view model
properties in the MATLAB Command Window, click Present.
Organizing
Model Icons
You can rear
range model icons in the System Identication To ol GU I by
dragging an
d dropping the icons to empty Model Board rectangles.
Note You can
not drag a nd drop a model icon into the data area on the left.
