Importing Models into the GUI
You can impo rt System Identification Toolbox models from the MATLAB
workspaceintotheSystemIdentification Tool GUI. If you have Control
System Toolbox software, you can also import any models (LTI objects) yo u
created using this toolbox.
The follo wing procedure assumes that you begin with the System
Identification Tool GUI a lready open. If this window is not open, type the
following command at the prompt:
ident
To import m odels into the System Id en t i fication Tool GUI:
1 In the System Identification Tool GUI, select Import from the Im port
models list to open the Import Model Object dialog box.
2 In the Enter the name field, type the name of a model object. Press Enter.
3 (Optional)
In the Notes field, type any notes you want to store with this
model.
4 Click Im port.
5 Click Close to close the Import Model Object dialog box.
