How to Plot Hamme
rstein-Wiener Plots at the
Command Line
You can plot inpu
t and output nonlinearity and linear responses for
Hammerstein-Wi
ener models using the following syntax:
plot(model)
model
must be an
idnlhw model object. You can use additional plot
arguments to sp
ecify the following information:
Include severa
l Hammerstein-Wiener models on the plot.
Congure how to
evaluate the nonlinearity at each input and output
channel.
Specify the tim
e or frequency values for com puting transient and frequency
response plo t
softhelinearblock.
The plot comma
nd opens the Hammerstein-Wiener Model Plot window.
For more infor

Plotting No
nlinear Block Characteristics
The Hammerst
ein-Wiener model can contain up to two nonlinear blocks. The
nonlineari
ty at the input to the Linear Bl o ck is labeled u
NL
andiscalledthe
input nonli
nearity. The nonlinearity at the output of the Linear Block is
labeled y
NL
andiscalledtheoutput nonlinearity.
To congure
the plot, perform the following steps:
1 If the top p
