Importing Time-
Domain Data into the GUI
Before you can im
port time-dom ain d ata i n to the System Identification Tool
GUI, you must imp
ort the data into the M ATLAB workspace, as described in
“Importing Time
-Domain Da t a into MATLAB” on page 1-6.
Note Your time-d
omain data must be sampled at equal time intervals. The
input and outpu
t signals must have the sam e number of data samples.
To import data in
to the GUI:
1 Type the follow
ing command in the MATLAB Command W indow to open
the GUI:
ident
2 In the System Id
entification Tool window, select Import data > Time
domain data.T
his action opens the Import Data dialog box.
