Using the GUI
Use the System Id
entication Tool GUI to resample time-domain data. To

the data. For mo

To create a new d
ata set by resampling the input and output s ignals:
1 Import time-d
omain data into the System Identication To ol GU I, as
described in
Representing Data in the GUI” on p age 1-13.
2 Drag the d ata set you want to resample to the Working Data area.
3 In the Resampling factor eld, enter the factor by which to multiply the
current sampling interval:
Fordecimation(fewersamples),enterafactorgreaterthan
1 to increase
thesamplingintervalbythisfactor.
For interpolation (more samples), enter a factor less than
1 to decrease
thesamplingintervalbythisfactor.
Default =
1.
4 In the Data name eld, type the name of the new data set. Choose a nam e
that is unique in the Data Board.
5 Click Insert to add the new data set to the Data Board in the System
Identication Toolbox window.
6 Click Close
to close t he Resample dialog box.
