6 Lay Out a GUIDE GUI
Note Many of the following steps show you how to use the P roperty Inspector
to set properties of a GUI and its components. If you are not familiar with
using this tool and its context-sensitive help, see “Property Inspector” on
page 6-92
IfyouwanttosetthepositionorsizeoftheGUItoanexactvalue,dothe
following:
1 Select Property Inspector from the View menu or click the Property
Inspector button
.
2 Scroll to the Units property and note whether the current setting is
characters or normalized. Click the button next to Units and then
change the setting to
inches from the p op-up menu.
3 In the Property Inspector, click the + sign next to P osition. The elements
of the component’s
Position property are displayed.
