When you save or activate the GUI, GUIDE converts this string to one that
calls the callback subfunction in the generated M-file. GUIDE uses the
component’s
Tag property to name its callback function. It is, therefore, useful
to set
Tag properties to descriptive names before you save or activate the GUI
for the first time.
