3 Running Functions — Command Window and History
To delete entries in the Command H istory window, first select the entries to
delete, using one of these methods:
• S elect a single entry.
• Shift+click or Ctrl+click to select multiple entries.
• Se le ct the timestamp for a session to select all entries for that session.
Then use Shift+click or Ctrl+click to select multiple timestamps with all
of their entries.
Then right-click a nd select Delete selection from the context menu, or press
the Delete key. A confirmation dialog box might appear; see preferences for
“Confirmation D ialogs Preferences” on page 2-81 fo r m ore information.
To delete all entries, select Edit > Clear Command H istory, or select Clear
Entire History from the context menu.
After deleting entries from the Com mand History window, you will not be able
to recall those statements in the Command Window as described in “Recalling
Previous Lines” on page 3-19.
