About Custom Components
In most cases, the components provided with the MATLAB Report Generator software
should be more than adequate for your needs. You can, however, create custom
components if you want to generate a report via functionality that is not available in
the standard MATLAB Report Generator components. For example, you can create a
component that inserts a corporate logo into your report, or a component that plots data.
