10 Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting a Video Preview Window
When pre view ing the video stream , if you enco unter a problem, try one of
the following solutions.
Problem Possible Solutions
Video Preview window stops
running.
• Close the preview w indow and reopen it.
• Verify that your image acquisition device is
working properly. Close MATLAB and run
the application that came with your device.
• Make sure no other application is using
the device.
Video Preview window
displays blank, gray
window.
• Close the preview w indow and reopen it.
• Check mem ory usage. It is possible that
there is not enough memory available for
the incoming image data. To increase
the memo r y allocation, use the
imaqmem
function and specify a higher value for the
FrameMemoryLimit.
• Make sure no other application is using
the device.

displays dropped frames
message.
• Close the preview w indow and reopen it.
