Two Tasks with the Base-Rate Task Overrunning, No
Preemption
Inthistworatescenario,theBase-Rateoverrunsthe1mstimeintendedand
prevents the subrate task from completing successfully or running every 2 ms.
• Sub-Rate 1 does not allow preemption and fails to run when scheduled, but
is never interrupted.
• The Base-Rate runs ev ery 2ms and Sub-Rate 1 runs e very 4ms instead
of 2ms.
