Numerous books have been published about HTML programming and the
World Wide Web. Two that we have found both useful and readable are:
Gundavaram, Shishir, CGI Programing on the World Wide Web, Sebastopol,
CA, O’Reilly & Associates, Inc., 1996.
Musciano, Chuck and Bill Kennedy, HTML The Definitive Guide, Sebastopol,
CA, O’Reilly & Associates, Inc., 1996.
On the Web, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) publishes comprehensive
information about current and future directions of the Web and the HTML
language. You will find their home page at
http://www.w3.org. Look at
http://www.w3.org/MarkUp for a comprehensive discussion of HTML.
