The quality of the ﬂow-volume curve depends on the subject‘s cooperation.In

order to assess reproducibility (repeatability) and thus the quality of cooperation,

it is recommended to perform at least 3 trials. The result of the best and the

second best trial for FEV1 and FVC may differ by ≤ 150 mL or < 5%.

For FVC ≤ 1 L a difference of ≤ 100 mL is valid*.
