In the event of a warranty claim, written notice of the defect must be sent by certied U.S.
Mail through the distributor or dealer that originally sold the door to the party that installed
the unit. Requested documentation is to be sent to Nan Ya Plastics Corp., 8989 North Loop
East, Houston, Texas 77029 immediately upon the discovery of the defect and only within the
original warranty period. The written notice must include the following information:
Description of door•
Name and address of the owner and the installer•
Date of owner’s purchase•
Proof of sale•
Detailed explanation of defect•
The remedies set forth herein are the original purchaser’s exclusive remedies for breach of
warranty. Owners can sue under state law without rst using the remedies set forth but
before suing under the Magnuson-Moss Act the owner must rst try to resolve the dispute
through the procedures set forth above.
In no case shall Nan Ya Plastics Corporation be liable to the homeowner or any other person
for general, incidental or consequential damages. There is no other warranty, expressed or
implied; including warranties of merchantability and the tness for a particular purpose,
except as is set forth herein. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also
have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may
not apply to you.
No distributor, dealer, or Nan Ya Plastics Corp. representative has the authority to change
or modify this warranty. Nan Ya Plastics Corp. limits maximum liability to the amount of the
retailer’s/dealers original purchase price and will not be responsible for cost of labor for
installation or nishing of any replacement door or component thereof.
