The term power tool in the warnings refers to your electric (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool. GENERAL SAFETY RULE does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. • Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.

GENERAL USE STATEMENT (APPLICATIONS) WARNING Do not attempt to use this product until you thoroughly read and completely understand the instruction manual. WARNING The operation of any tool can result in foreign objects being thrown into your eyes, which can result in severe eye damage.
ELECTRICAL DOUBLE INSULATION Double insulation is a safety concept for electric power tools, which eliminates the need for the usual three-wire grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal motor components with protecting insulation. Double insulated tools do not need to be grounded. WARNING The double insulated system is intended to protect the user from shock resulting from a break in the tool’s internal wiring.

USING THE VARIABLE SPEED DIAL Select oscillation frequency (speed) while the motor is running. The variable speed dial can be used to set the optimum oscillating frequency according to the accessories used and the respective application.
OPERATION 8. APPLICATION The workpiece must be clamped tightly before it is cut. WARNING The saw teeth are very sharp. Do not touch during mounting and application NOTE: When plunging and sawing, use a slight pendulum motion, to allow sufficient chip removal. The saw blade lasts longer if the wear is distributed evenly. To ensure an even distribution, loosen the saw blade, rotate it and retighten firmly. Cut/sand with a constant movement and light pressure.
WORKING HINTS FOR YOUR MUTLI-TOOL If your power tool becomes too hot, especially when used at low speed, set the speed to maximum and run it with no-load for 2-3 minutes to cool the motor. Avoid prolonged usage at very low speeds. Always keep the blade sharp. Always ensure the workpiece is firmly held or clamped to prevent movement. Any movement of the material may affect the quality of the cutting or sanding finish. Start your tool before working and turn it off only after you stop working.

INSTALACIÓN / CAMBIO DE LIJA • Retire completamente la brida. • Instale la almohadilla de lijado sobre la interfaz del accesorio. • Vuelva a instalar la brida. • Alinee los orificios de la lija perforada con las ranuras de la almohadilla de lijado perforada y presione la lija sobre la almohadilla. (Fig. E) • Presione firmemente la herramienta de oscilación con la lija instalada contra una superficie plana y encienda brevemente el interruptor de la herramienta eléctrica.
OPERACIÓN 8. APLICACIÓN La pieza de trabajo debe estar sujeta firmemente antes que se corte. Los dientes de la sierre son muy filosos. No los toque durante la instalación y aplicación. NOTA: Cuando realice ranuras y corte, use un ligero movimiento de péndulo, para permitir la suficiente remoción de astillas. El aspa de sierra dura más si el desgaste se distribuye uniformemente. Para asegurar una distribución uniforme, afloje el aspa de la sierra, gírela y vuelva a apretarla firmemente.
Mantenga sus herramientas afiladas y limpias para un mejor desempeño y más seguro. Siga las instrucciones para lubricar y cambiar los accesorios. Revise los cables de la herramienta periódicamente y pida que una instalación de servicio autorizada los repare si están dañados. Su herramienta eléctrica no requiere lubricación o mantenimiento adicional. No hay partes a las que el usuario pueda dar servicio en su herramienta eléctrica. Nunca use agua o limpiadores químicos para limpiar su herramienta eléctrica.
