PROBLEM CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM SOLUTION
The Impact Driver does  
not work.
Battery is depleted. Charge the battery.
Bit cannot be installed. Bit does not fit the sleeve. Use suitable adapter.
Motor overheating. Be sure cooling vents 
are free from dust and 
obstacles.
Clean, clear vents. Do not 
cover with hand during 
operation.
    WARNING: 
 To avoid serious 
personal injury, always remove the battery 
pack from the tool when cleaning or 
performing any maintenance. Contact a 
qualied service technician for all repairs.
    WARNING: 
 When servicing, use 
only identical replacement parts. Use 
of any other parts may create a hazard

    WARNING: 
 Avoid using solvents 
when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics 
are susceptible to damage from various 
types of commercial solvents and may be 
damaged by their use. Use a clean cloth 
to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
    WARNING: 
 Using compressed 
air may be the most effective cleaning 
method. Always wear safety goggles 
when cleaning tools with compressed air.
