OPERATION TO ATTACH/DETACH BATTERY PACK (FIG. 1) TO REMOVE/INSTALL THE BLADE COVER (FIG. 2) TO ATTACH BATTERY PACK 1. Align the raised rib on the battery pack with the grooves on the bottom of the tool, then slide the battery pack onto the tool. 2. OPERATION TO START/STOP THE HEDGE TRIMMER (FIG. 3) FIG. 3 Lock-off Button Front Switch Trigger TO STOP THE HEDGE TRIMMER Move the hedge trimmer away from the cutting area and release either of the two switch triggers to stop the hedge trimmer. WARNING: Always remove the battery pack from the hedge trimmer during work breaks and after finishing work. USING THE HEDGE TRIMMER WARNING: Rear Switch Trigger Before starting the hedge trimmer • Make sure that you have a secure and balanced footing.

TOP CUTTING (FIG. 4A) FIG. 4a TIPS FOR BEST TRIMMING RESULTS • Before starting the hedge trimmer, maintain proper footing and balance and do not overreach. Wear safety goggles, nonskid footwear and rubber gloves. Hold the unit with both hands, with the cutting blade directed away from you. • Do not trim too much at one time.
MAINTENANCE WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. WARNING: To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack from the product when cleaning or performing any maintenance. CLEANING • For safe and proper operation, always keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean. Always use only a soft, dry cloth or brush to remove debris from the air vents and cutting blade.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM Hedge trimmer dose not work. Excessive vibration or noise. POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION The battery pack is not properly attached to the hedge trimmer. Attach the battery pack to the hedge trimmer. The battery pack is depleted. Charge the battery pack. The front and rear switch triggers are not depressed simultaneously. Press the lock-off button first and then press the front and rear switch triggers simultaneously. The blade is jammed.
