ORBITAL FUNCTION BLADE SELECTION The orbital action thrusts the blade forward on the cutting stroke and greatly increases the cutting speed compared to the normal up-and-down blade action. In order to obtain the best performance from the saw, it is important to select the correct blade for the particular application and type of material to be cut. WARNING: To avoid injury and damage, do not operate the saw without the pivot shoe in place.

This orbital action increases the efficiency of cutting. Experiment on a piece of scrap material to determine the optimum orbital action setting. 11. Do not force the tool. L oosening the locking screw and remove carton brush covers. 3. R eplace the carbon bushes and keep the brushes clean and sliding freely in their guide channels.
