Make sure that all items listed in the package contents section are included. • Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping. • Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.
OPERATION START / STOP THE BLOWER To start 1. Press and hold the safety lock button. 2. Squeeze the trigger to start the machine. 3. Release the trigger to decrease the speed. 4. Release the lock-out button. The hedge trimmer will stay on as long as the trigger switch is engaged. To stop 1. Release the trigger to stop the machine. IMPORTANT: If the hedge trimmer is accidentally dropped, the hedge trimmer will turn OFF and the blade will coast to a stop after several seconds.
MAINTENANCE CLEAN THE MACHINE LUBRICATE THE BLADE • Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with a vacuum cleaner. • Do not spray the air vent or put the air vent in solvents. • Clean the housing and the plastic components with a moist and soft cloth. To increase the efficiency and life of the blades, lubricate them carefully after each work session: • Put the machine on a flat and smooth surface. • Use a soft cloth to clean the blades and a brush to remove more dirt.
