Disconnect the power supply and release
all the pressure from the filter and air
supply system before attempting to
install, service, relocate, or perform
any maintenance. Failure to comply will lead to
serious injury or loss of life.
Installation
1. Place the filter so the flow direction
arrow in the top portion of the filter
points from the air inlet to the air outlet
(fig A).
2. Securely mount the filter as close as possible
to the air supply system in a vertical position.
3. Connect the air supply system to the 1/4" air
inlet of the filter.

Storage
• The air supply system must be inspected periodically, and worn or broken parts must be
replaced in order to keep tools operating safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and replace cracked, damaged, or deteriorated seals. Tighten all nuts, bolts, and
screws frequently.
• Clean the bowl with a soft and dry cloth. Replace the bowl, If it is damaged.
• Clean the filter element periodically by tapping it on a hard surface or using an air gun to blow
out the residual dirt.
• Drain the bowls periodically. Reduce the pressure down to 30 PSI before draining. Pull the
drain fitting upwards to drain. To avoid spray or splatter, cover the bottom of the filter with a
cloth.
• Ensure the bowl is reinstalled and securely locked in place before supplying compressed air.
• Never use a damaged/worn filter element.
• Verify that no part is loose or missing and that no part is stuck or jammed.
• Check the air supply for correct size and type of connectors. To avoid loss of power or erratic
action, ensure that there is no additional drain on the air line.

couplings, etc., that restrict the air flow. Failure

Before operation
Before supplying air to the filter, press
the bowl into the filter body and turn it
clockwise to lock the bowl securely.
Always release all pressure inside the filter
before removing the bowl. Push the drain
fitting upwards until all pressure has been
released. Failure to comply may result in
moderate injury.

This Mastercraft product carries a three-year LIMITED warranty against defects in workmanship and
materials.
Subject to the conditions and limitations described below, this product, if returned to us with proof of
purchase within the stated warranty period and if covered under this warranty, will be repaired or
replaced (with the same model, or one of equal value or specification), at our option. We will bear the
cost of any repair or replacement and any costs of labour relating thereto.
1. A bill of sale verifying the purchase and purchase date must be provided.
2. This warranty will not apply to any product or part thereof that is worn or broken or that has become inoperative due to abuse, misuse,
accidental damage, neglect or lack of proper installation, operation or maintenance (as outlined in the applicable Owner's Manual or
operating instructions) or that is being used for industrial, professional, commercial or rental purposes.
3. This warranty will not apply to normal wear and tear or to expendable parts or accessories that may be supplied with product and that are
expected to become inoperative or unusable after a reasonable period of use.
4. This warranty will not apply to routine maintenance and consumable items such as, but not limited to, fuel, lubricants, vacuum bags,
blades, belts, sandpaper, bits, fluids, tune-ups or adjustments.
5. This warranty will not apply where damage is caused by repairs made or attempted by others (i.e. anyone not authorized by the
manufacturer).
6. This warranty will not apply to any product that was sold to the original purchaser as a reconditioned or refurbished product (unless
otherwise specified in writing).
7. This warranty will not apply to any product or part thereof if any part from another manufacturer is installed therein or any repairs or
alterations have been made or attempted by unauthorized persons.
8. This warranty will not apply to normal deterioration of the exterior finish, such as, but not limited to, scratches, dents, paint chips, or to
any corrosion or discoloring by heat, abrasive and chemical cleaners.
9. This warranty will not apply to component parts sold by and identified as the product of another company, which shall be covered under
the product manufacturer's warranty, if any.
Additional Limitations
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred. Neither the retailer nor the manufacturer shall be liable for
any other expense, loss or damage, including, without limitation, any indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising in
connection with the sale, use or inability to use this product.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which may vary from province to province. The provisions
contained in this warranty are not intended to limit, modify, take away from, disclaim or exclude any statutory warranties set forth in any
applicable provincial or federal legislation.
