Leave the door closed and check both

Install one 2-½" wood screw into each of the pre-drilled
locations. Be careful not to over tighten the screws so that you
do not crack the jambs

Once the head and sill of the door are held into
place, use the 1/8" drill bit to pre-drill a hole
through the jamb and into each of the shim locations at a 45º
angle. Once the holes have been drilled, install one 2-½" wood
screw at each of the shim locations

NOTE: We recommend the use of screws when installing your Prehung unit.
Screws allow you the opportunity for easy removal if adjustments need to be
made to the installation.
NOTE: Because of the angle of the screws, be careful not to draw the door
unit out of plumb when tightening the screw heads. Do not over-tighten.
