TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible causes Solutions

The trimmer does not work.

The battery pack is depleted. Charge the battery pack.

The motor shaft or trimmer head is

bound with grass.

Stop the trimmer, remove the bat-

tery, and remove the grass from the

motor shaft and trimmer head.

The motor is overloaded.

Remove the trimmer head from the

grass and restart the tool. Move the

trimmer head to cut the grass no

more than 8” (20 cm) of length in a

single cut.

The battery pack or string trimmer

is too hot.

Release the trigger switch, wait for

the tool to cool down, and then start

the tool again.

Trimmer head will not

advance line.

The motor shaft or trimmer head is

bound with grass.

Stop the trimmer, remove the bat-

tery, and clean the motor shaft and

trimmer head.

There is not enough line on the

spool.

Remove the battery and replace

the cutting line; follow the section

“WIND THE SPOOL WITH NEW LINE”

in this manual.
