Type N Masonry Cement is designed for applications where

Product Description
This cement is ideal for producing masonry mortars for
brick, block, tile, and stone masonry as well as stucco. It is
a high-quality masonry cement meeting ASTM C 91.

Mixing
Mix the following with water in the following proportions
by volume to make Type N Mortar ASTM C-270.
Precautions
Important! Read before using.
• This product contains Portland cement. Contact with
freshly mixed product can cause severe burns. Avoid
direct contact with eyes.
• If this product should contact eyes, immediately
ush with water for at least 15 minutes and consult
a physician. For skin exposure, wash promptly with
plenty of soap and water, and remove soaked clothing
promptly. If this product burns your skin, see a
physician immediately.
• This product may contain silica. Silica dust, if inhaled,
may cause respiratory or other health problems.
Prolonged inhalation may cause delayed lung injury,
including silicosis and possibly cancer. A N95 approved
dust mask, eye protection, rubber boots, and gloves are
recommended when using this product.

2-1/2 to 3 Parts Dry Masonry Sand ASTM C-144.

manufacturing defects when used according to the
instructions provided. This guarantee will be honored
with proof of purchase. Midwest Manufacturing does not
guarantee this product if used for any purpose other than
the general purpose for which it is intended. Midwest
Manufacturing’s obligation is limited to replacement of
defective product only. Midwest Manufacturing will not be
responsible for lost time, replacement labor, nor any other
commensurate costs associated with replacement.
Preparations
Surfaces receiving masonry mortar should be dry or damp,
clean, and free of dirt, loose debris, grease, oil, or any other
material which would reduce the bond of the mortar to the
masonry. Do not use at temperatures below 40 degrees
F (4.4 degrees C) or if the temperature is expected to fall
below freezing within 48 hours.
