ADVERTENCIAS Y PROCEDIMIENTOS DE LA PRUEBA DE AGUA JABONOSA
ADVERTENCIAS
• La prueba de agua jabonosa DEBE realizarse cada vez que se conecta el cilindro de gas a la
hornilla/manguera o cada vez que se usa.
• La prueba de agua jabonosa DEBE realizarse en exteriores, en un área bien ventilada.
• Al realiza la prueba de agua jabonosa mantenga la parrilla lejos de llamas abiertas, chispas o
cigarrillos prendidos.
• La parilla ha sido diseñada para funcionar solamente con has propano. Solamente use cilindros
de gas marcados de propano con esta unidad. Este producto NO va a funcionar con gas natural.
• Nunca use una llama abierta para probar fugas de gas.
PREPARACIÓN:
• Retire todo utensilio de cocina de la estufa.
• Asegúrese que el regulador y la válvula del cilindro de gas estén apagadas.
• Prepare la solución de agua jabonosa: (1) parte de líquido lavaplatos (o más, si se desea), (3)
partes de agua.
• Aplique la solución de agua jabonosa a la válvula del cilindro de gas, al regulador y a la
manguera hasta llegar a la hornilla.
PRUEBA DE LA VÁLVULA DE GAS:
•
Encienda la válvula del cilindro de gas y observe si hay burbujas. NO DEJE EL GAS ENCENDIDO
MÁS DE 12 SEGUNDOS. Si aparecen burbujas, pare, apague el cilindro de gas y reajuste los
accesorios. Repita la prueba.
PRUEBA DEL REGULADOR Y LA MANGUERA:
• DESPUÉS que la válvula del cilindro de gas ha pasado la prueba de agua jabonosa, encienda
la válvula del cilindro de gas, abra la válvula de control del regulador un giro entero y revise si
hay burbujas en el lugar de la válvula, a lo largo de toda la extensión de la manguera y en la
conexión de la hornilla.
NO DEJE EL GAS ENCENDIDO MÁS DE 12 SEGUNDOS. Si aparecen
burbujas, pare, apague el cilindro de gas y reajuste los accesorios por donde se fuga el gas. Si la
manguera es la fuente de la fuga, apague el cilindro de gas y reajuste la conexión por donde se
fuga el gas, Si la manguera es la fuente de la fuga, PARE, no use la unidad. La manguera debe
reemplazarse.
• Cuando
la prueba esté lista y si no hay fugas
, espere como mínimo 5 minutos para que
disminuyan los vapore del gas antes de encender la hornilla.
DURANTE CUALQUIER PARTE DE LA PRUEBA DE AGUA JABONOSA,
SI CONTINÚAN APARECIENDO BURBUJAS PARE, NO USE LA UNIDAD.

REALICE SIEMPRE LA “PRUEBA DEL AGUA JABONOSA”. VER LA SECCIÓN DE LA “PRUEBA
DE AGUA JABONOSA” EN ESTE MANUAL. EXTINGA TODAS LAS LLAMAS ABIERTAS ANTES DE
CONECTAR EL REGULADOR AL CILINDRO DE GAS. APAGUE EL GAS DESPUÉS DE CADA USO.

When The Cast Aluminum Burner Burns Yellow or Not At All, What Do I Do?
If your burner does not burn, blows out, burns yellow, or there’s a fl ame inside the venturi, you need
to check the burner venturi for any obstructions. Dirt daubers, spiders and other insects will build a
nest inside the burner ventura blocking air and gas fl ow.
KEEP AIR SHUTTERS CLOSED AFTER EACH USE.
How To Clean
1. Remove the control valves from the burner.
2. Insert a small rod in the hole that the control valve
was removed from.
3. Hold the burner up to a light looking into the hole
that the valve was removed from to see any
obstructions.
4. If burner has not cleared, fl ush with water.
(Ensure burner dries completely before using).
5. Once the burner has been cleared, reassemble
the burner.
When a flame occurs inside the venturi this is
caused by a blockage and could cause damage to
the hose assembly.
• Before each use of appliance, check and clean burner/venturi tubes/hoses for insects and insect
nests. A clogged tube/hose can lead to a fi re beneath the cooker.
• Check regulator, hose, and burner parts, air shutter and ventura section carefully before and after
each use for any sign of wear.
• ALWAYS turn gas OFF at gas cylinder valve prior to inspecting parts.
• DO NOT obstruct fl ow of combustion and ventilation. Keep ventilation opening(s) of cylinder
enclosure clear of debris. Cylinder supply system must be arranged for vapor withdrawal.
• Keep appliance area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and other fl ammable
vapors and liquids.
• Coat cooker stand with cooking oil after unit has cooled.
• ALWAYS allow appliance to cool completely before handling.
• When appliance is not in use, gas must be turned off at supply cylinder.
• ALWAYS disconnect gas cylinder after using appliance.
• ALWAYS cover and store your appliance in a protected area.
• Cylinders must be stored outdoors out of the reach of children and must not be stored in a build-
ing, garage or any other enclosed area.
• Always store gas cylinder upright and in areas where temperatures won’t exceed 125°F, and Do
Not store a spare cylinder on, or near, your cooker stand, or place connected gas cylinder under
cooker stand. Always keep gas cylinder 20 inches away from cooker stand.
• Indoor storage of appliance is permissible only if cylinder is disconnected and removed.
• Wipe down appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use a cleaning agent. Make sure to dry thor-
oughly.
• If any rusting occurs, use steel wool to clean or buff affected area.
• The exterior of appliance may be touched up using a high temperature-resistant paint.
