SECTION 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point: None
LEL: NA
UEL: NA
Extinguishing Media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding
environment.
Unusual Fire/Explosive Hazards: Closed containers may rupture if exposed to fire or extreme heat.
Fire Equipment: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or
equivalent) and full protective gear.
SECTION 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill/Leak Procedures: Aplicable health and environmental regulation. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do
so.
Small Spills: Soak up with inert absorbent material. Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.
Large Spills: Dike and contain spill. Eliminate all sources of ignition, evacuate all unnecessary personnel
SECTION 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid breathing vapors, spray mists or sanding dust. In case of
insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Storage: Do not store above 120ºF. Store large quantities only in buildings designed to comply with OSHA 1910.106.
Keep closures tight and container upright to prevent leakage. Never use pressure to empty. Drum must not be washed out
or used for other purposes.
