This section describes the principle characteristics of the MOVI-PLC
®
advanced
DHF41B control card when operated on the PROFIBUS-DP system.
5.1 Process data exchange with MOVI-PLC
®
advanced DHF41B
MOVI-PLC
®
advanced DHF41B is controlled via the process data channel which is up
to 32 I/O words in length. These process data words are mapped in the I/O or peripheral
area of the MOVI-PLC
®
advanced DHF41B control card, for example when a higher-lev-
el PLC is used as the DP master. As a result, the process data words can be addressed
in the usual manner.
