Installation Instructions
Transform your homes exterior or interior easily and less costly with Master
Decor Mouldings, without having to spend in major construction expenses. With
Master Dcor Mouldings, you can transform door frames, windows, ceiling areas,
air conditioner borders, terraces, columns, arches, cornices, baseboards, and
facades. Made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), they are lightweight and easy to
install, resisting the outside weather. They can be easily cut and adjusted to any
structure, both interior and exterior. They can be applied directly on concrete,
wood or any other surface.
Surface Preparation: Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry, and free of
contaminants, grease, paint, dust, or other types of loose materials, The surface
should not have a deflection of more than 1/8" inches in 4'. Temperature
conditions should not be under 40° F.
Installation: Mount a leveled piece of wood at the chalk line as support, during
the drying process, where the molding will be installed. Apply a coat of the Multi-
Purpose Adhesive Compound with a 3/8 tropel to the entire back of the molding
to be installed, Press the molding over the wall and the wooden support that was
previously installed, sliding the molding two inches to your right and bringing it
to the desired position. Remove the wood support after adhesive has set for 24
hours.
Joints: Apply Multi-Purpose Adhesive Compound to the sectional area of the
joint. Press both moldings against each other and remove excess. Apply Multi-
Purpose Adhesive Compound to cover the spaces left between the wall and the
moldings.
