With door open, insert key into keyway of
deadbolt. Turn key 90 degrees clockwise to
recode position. Do not remove key from
keyway.
With key still in keyway, insert Change Tool into
notch above the keyway.
Without removing the Change Tool, remove
old key. With Change Tool still in place, insert
new key.
Remove Change Tool – your lock is now rekeyed to
the new key.
